MONTAUBAN-SUR-L’OUVÈZE, France – Today, I am surrounded by beauty but at a loss for words. It happens to me sometimes. There are moments when the words refuse to come. Perhaps they are waiting for something.
In their place I send you some photos that say what I would have said had I been able to coax the words from hiding.
Abrazos,
Kevin
I understand it completely. Sometimes beauty leaves us open-mouthed and, at those moments, words mean nothing, so they may not come to our mouths. “A picture is worth a thousand words”.
I love the top photo and the lazy drifting stillness it implies, with the awareness that any minute now there could be an eruption of joyous splashing humanity. Or that the humans have departed for the moment, leaving their floating objects behind like echoes.
